I joined Selcouth Station Press in June 2020 - a wonderful independent, volunteer-led press. Selcouth Station publishes story and poetry collections, as well as chapbooks, reviews and interviews. They have a wide range of resources for writers and also provide a detailed feedback service.

I supported the team with reading, approving and offering feedback to applicants. Later on, we opened up to chapbooks and I aided in the process of selecting which chapbooks were to be published. We were then assigned a number of books and helped authors in the editing and publishing of said chapbooks, from initial concept to fully-fledged printable and publishable book. This opportunity has enabled me to hone my editing skills, more specifically in poetry and prose, as well as given me a truly immeasurable amount of insight into the publishing world.

Once I got to know Selcouth a little better, I assisted in the marketing and social media posts to help with the sale of our books.
