Writer and Localisation Specialist at Impulse Gear

I began working on Larcenauts in April 2021 as a French Localisation Specialist and Writer. This position entailed translating all in-game text from English to French, from character dialogue to UI (menu & tutorial) text.

I worked with fellow localisation specialists so we could tackle translation queries together. Our manager was very open to changes in dialogue that would be better suited for the language we were working in.

Once the new dialogue for the characters had been written, we worked closely with the recording studios, even selecting which professional voice actors would be best suited for the role, and helped direct them to give the effect needed for the game.
